What_ ECLA, in partnership with Reju + Rematrix, designed, produced and installed a series of ‘𝗖𝗼𝗹𝗹𝗲𝗰𝘁 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗥𝗲𝗰𝘆𝗰𝗹𝗲 𝗞𝗶𝘁𝘀’ for textile-to-textile collection and recycling during the ORBDays by Italian Outdoor Group. We are proud to support the spirit and mission of Reju, a company on a mission to build a system where textile waste no longer exists, as garments are collected and regenerated before ever becoming waste.

The goal of the ‘Collect and Recycle Kit’ project is to create dedicated areas for textile collection and to raise awareness around textile-to-textile recycling. Contributing to this collection means 𝗴𝗶𝘃𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗽𝗼𝗹𝘆𝗲𝘀𝘁𝗲𝗿 𝗳𝗶𝗯𝗿𝗲𝘀 𝗮𝗻 𝗶𝗻𝗳𝗶𝗻𝗶𝘁𝗲 𝗹𝗶𝗳𝗲, ready to be re-spun into new garments while preserving the same technical and qualitative performance.

Our ‘Collect and Recycle Kits’ are 𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗶𝗿𝗲𝗹𝘆 𝗺𝗮𝗱𝗲 𝗼𝗳 𝗮𝗹𝘂𝗺𝗶𝗻𝗶𝘂𝗺 – a noble, fully recyclable material whose lightweight nature 𝗱𝗿𝗮𝘀𝘁𝗶𝗰𝗮𝗹𝗹𝘆 𝗰𝘂𝘁𝘀 𝗖𝗢₂ 𝗲𝗺𝗶𝘀𝘀𝗶𝗼𝗻𝘀 compared to the metals typically used for this purpose. The structures are designed to be 𝗳𝘂𝗹𝗹𝘆 𝗱𝗲𝗺𝗼𝘂𝗻𝘁𝗮𝗯𝗹𝗲 and to last over time, both indoors and outdoors.
